Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Jordie Sanchez is a talented individual with a passion for visual storytelling. Raised in a Latino household with roots in Ecuador, Jordie pursued his education at the School of Visual Arts, majoring in design. While Jordie initially focused on design during his academic years, it wasn’t until his final year of college that he discovered passion for filmmaking. Recognizing his natural talent and passion for craft, Jordie embarked on a freelance journey, immersing himself in various roles within the film industry such as capturing BTS moments at concerts, to undertaking random PA jobs. In July of 2022, Jordie made the decision to pursue directing more seriously, marking a significant turning point in his career.
