Born in Salt Lake City, Bennett Barbosa is a versatile creative professional whose dynamic roles encompass director, photographer, and production designer. He established Barbosa Media Co S Corp in 2013 in which he specialized in producing wedding videos and action sports content. Being at Teton Gravity as an editing intern, helped him sharpen his skills where he later graduated from Studio School LA Film School in 2018. In 2020, Bennett co-founded Happy I’m Sad LLC, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit. For about a year, Bennett both managed and lived at Electric Pony Studios, adding a hands-on dimension to his experience. Bennett has achieved surreal accomplishments such as having a VMA winning art department team with Collective NOMAD. As a director, he has helmed notable projects such as the ASUS Computer Holiday Campaign. His work as a director of photography (DP) includes impressive collaborations on projects like “Vices” by Josh Levi, “C.A.B.” by Chris Brown, and “Fighter” by The Score. Additionally, Bennett has made significant contributions as a production designer, notably for the Rose In Good Faith summer pop-up at H. Lorenzo, “How We Ballin” by T-Pain and Snoop Dogg, and “Point Em Out” by ThatMexicanOT and DaBaby. With an impressive portfolio and diverse skill set, Bennett continues to make his mark in the entertainment industry with his creative vision and technical expertise.
